Guiding China
Li River sunrise with cormorant fisherman
Welcome

A photographer's China, not a tourist's

Most visitors see China through a bus window at noon. You will stand on Xianggong Hill before the Li River mist lifts, wait for blue hour over the Yuanyang terraces, and be alone on the Great Wall as the sun clears the horizon.

Every itinerary is built around light, not queues — dawn summits, midday editing breaks, lantern-lit old towns after the day-trippers leave. Your guide is a working landscape photographer who has shot these regions for a decade.

Why Shoot With Us

Built by photographers, for photographers

🧭

Hidden-world scouting

Beyond the viewpoints: pristine terraces, desert backroads and villages the tour buses never reach — scouted over a decade of shooting China.

🌅

Light-first itineraries

We follow the sun, not the schedule — pre-dawn summits, midday editing breaks, blue-hour town walks and star-filled nights when the sky is clear.

📷

Every genre, one trip

Landscape, drone, night, time-lapse, portrait and street — your guide shoots them all and teaches on location, from long exposures to filter technique.
